I was sitting here waiting for 12:00, and to post right at that minute. (a friend of mine Facebooked me right at 12:00 the day of my b-day ^^) But I was reading fanfics and failed that. (of course, you can change the time on LJ LOL)

New years resolutions? I'm awful with those. They used to be very specific until I realized that it never works out that way.

LJ isn't blocked at school! And the librarian haven't messaged me telling me to not be on this site.

My house currently doesn't have power. We had a major storm Sunday night and our power went out. Because our heat doesn't work either I caught a cold. Right now I'm trying my best not to swallow. I think I have a fever too.

I hope we get our power back soon.

Two More Days!

I absolutely can't wait for Halloween! My Rinoa costume is 95% done. (I mean done as in, "please don't turn it inside-out to look at the seams and hemming", because there are parts that are very poorly hemmed). I still need to paint the wings in the back! (why can't my hair behave. (I just ran to the bathroom to trim my bangs to make the more Rinoa-like: I'll NEVER be able to grow them out at this rate><)

Just Poping In and Asking for Help

My teacher gave me the go-ahead for making a website for the math project (yes, projects: it is honours I guess). I bounced in my chair for the rest of the class. (My friend asked me if I was going to use Dreamweaver, I told her no and I was going to code it by hand. She gave me a completely confused look and was like "make a website by hand? Can you do that?" It was priceless, but it also annoyed me a little. Coding which took two years to master can take about a week using a program ><)

I came home and spent the rest of the day working on it. I'm somewhat pround of it. (It's a math project, so I can't add purdy piccies) It's pretty freaky coding, tables and frames (have I seriously gone insane?).

But then I go and test it in Internet Explorer. IE hates me, I swear. The iframe has a horizontal scrollbar and I spent half an hour trying to get rid of it. But I failed. Anyone have any ideas?

Get presents for the three something upcoming birthdays, oh how I hate November and April (I have so many friends born in those months)

UGH I'm never letting my friend Andy plan another event in his life!

We didn't hear back from him until 10:00 last night. Before that we switched between Metro and Korean BBQ like 5 times. Then this morning (err, noon) when I woke up, walked to the washroom, took out contact. And WHEN I was washing my contacts, I hear my cell phone ring. I dash to my room with a soapy contact in hand to have Andy tell me that we are meeting at 1:30.

I have half a hour to make myself look presentable and eat. So much for my shower.

I am just the strangest person.

I'm obsessed with Goong, a Korean Manhwa (comic). The drama 'Palace' or 'Princess Hours' is based on it. I have the weirdest ways of discovering new things.

I went to the Dollar Store on Thursday to see if more cute Korean stationary came in (none did ><). So I looked through the notebooks and found a really cute one with Goong art on it (I just thought it was pretty at the time). The next day I showed it to my Korean/Cantonese friend Tracy (she's Cantonese by birth, Korean by obsession) in choir. She recognized it at first sight and told my other Korean friend, and they both squealed over it. They told me there was a drama - though they didn't tell me what it was called, it did say 'Palace Story' on the notebook. Later my other -other Korean friend told me she has been meaning to read the manhwa.

So I went home to search for the drama, but really, I'm just not a Korean drama person. I like Japanese and Chinese dramas (and some Taiwanese ones too), but I've only been able to finish one K-drama in my life - Dae Jang Geum. I managed to get about ten minutes in before I stopped. Korean dramas make me impatient, (I know, how sad) and I know EXACTLY what's gonna happen the minute before it does so I'm like "No I can't look!", am I weird?

But the manhwa is great. I'm downloading the third volume now.

While we're both doing our Fibonacci Assignment from Math Honours - I swear, Honours just give you a lot more work - she goes. (FYI, I've already done about 5 pages on this assignment)

You Know You're a Nerd When....

...You are assigned a project to make a wedding invitation in French class and now you are slaving in Photoshop and Word to make a wedding invitation for your OTP, Athrun and Cagalli.

I'm making the outlines of Athrun and Cagalli more 'normal'. It's an outline I made in Photoshop of them in the ending "Find the Way". Athrun now has pants and Cagallie has a shirt. Both very badly Photoshopped.

It'll do though, I hardly think my French teacher'll be picky about that.

Here's the image I'm putting on it. If anyone's willing to help me proofread my French, I would be most grateful!

EDIT: Something I've never noticed before! You know how A LOT of things in Gundam Seed is related to 'dawn'? Like Cagalli's name, Akatsuki Gundam, Dersert Dawn, and such? I decided to use the French word for 'dawn' in one of the addresses in the Wedding Invitation project. And in French, 'dawn' is actually 'aube', which is read in a very similar way to 'Orb', and is actually what Orb is called in the manga.

I've been really busy lately. Even though about 80% of it is my own fault.

I wake up this morning at 5, and got to the pool for swim practice half-dead. There are way too many people for two lanes! I'm quite tired and I only got about 6 hours of sleep, so.... But that's my own fault, I wanted to join swimming (I need to do something athletic).

I have a whole pile of homework but that's partly my own fault too. Most of the homework's from math honours, which I applied for.

I also have a poster for poster club and stuff to organize for anime club, also my fault, because I joined (and became vice president - anime) both.

I don't sound that busy at all. Maybe I just spend too much time in front of the computer?

Gundam SEED, (With DC following closely behind) I've loved it to bits since I first saw it. It's all kinds of my favorite things to see in a series put together. Action, fluff, good characters, good costumes for cosplay *shot*, ect.

I would save them though, of course. Especially if it's a vampire.

I'm sick... Again!

Well, I started feeling sick on Wednesday. Just a sore throat though. I made it through Wednesday and Thursday fine. (My throat got worse on Thursday though. I didn't tell my choir teacher that though...) On Friday though, after the first class (which was supposed to be band but somehow we never have band on Fridays), I knew I had a fever. I thought I would live, so I sat in outside my Math class at lunch, and basically stumbled into the class as soon as the bell rang.

I was the only one there, except Ms Gerandol and apparently Yicheng, a guy my friend Angel had a week-long crush on last year. I've talked to him like twice on Facebook (in Chinese, to tell him to stop teaching Young Hoon Mandarin). I didn't realize he knew that was me (I mean, I've never actually talked to him), but he came up to me (while I had a headache and was resting my head against the desk. Flattering position, I know) and asked me in Mandarin if we had a test today. I responded (in what I guess now is a dead-ish voice) that I thought it was Monday.

During the class, I decided to go home after. Rochelle also convinced me to. (So sorry Roshi, but I did walk home. My parents were in West Van and I didn't want to trouble your parents to have them pick me up)

I'm better now, I'll have to make sure I finish my homework tomorrow.

I was at the pond for the Kingdom Hearts Photoshoot and I could hear the cosplay contest in the background. I heard the Hare Hare Yukai song three times~~

My parents are happy I'm learning it. They've been bugging me for days about 'getting exercise'...

My Official long entry about my first anime convention! Yeah~~ Even if no one reads this, it's a moment in my great history~~~ *shot*

I'm really sad though. My dad said I won't be able to go to Anime Evolution 08 because we're going back to China. I guess I could go to some Chinese cosplay event. But it won't be the same!!

I'm planning a Princess Garnet gown for my next cosplay. The white one she wears in the starting and ending FMVs. That's also one of the reason I would much rather go to Anime Evolution than a Chinese cosplay event! My friend Gemma cosplayed as Zidane and I really want to go with her as Garnet! You get so much more people asking for your picture if you're in a group.
